THE ANALYSIS OF AGENTS OF REGIONAL ECONOMIC INEQUALITY IN JIANGSU PROVINCE IN POST-REFROM
通过泰尔指数分解，分析了1978年改革后江苏省区域经济不平等加剧的趋势，发现苏南、苏中、苏北之间的差异是主要表现，且区域发展政策和战略是最重要的影响因素。
The trends of regional economic inequality in Jiangsu province have been increasing since the economic reforms of 1978 in China. By the decomposition of the Theil index, the differences of spatial structure in Jiangsu province primarily express the inequality among the southern Jiangsu(Sunan), the central Jiangsu (Suzhong) and the northern Jiangsu (Subei). The spatial disparities within rural county remain substantial and continue to increase. The main performance of regional economic inequality in Jiangsu province consists in the difference of scale, development speed, level and structure of each regional economic. There are many agents or factors of regional growth in Jiangsu province such as the factor of history, location condition, regional development police and strategy, scale of center city, quantity and quality of population, impact of globalization, degree of marketization and so on. Among the all factors, regional development police and strategy is the most important agent to the regional inequality in Jiangsu province by the step-regression analysis.
