Qi-lou is one of the outstanding representatives of Guangzhou traditional architecture.Besides to be the symbol of flourishing modern business in Guangzhou,Enning Qi-lou street is the cradle of the Cantonese folk arts,like Cantonese opera,etc.To save the active non-material culture legacy,preserve the individuality of city context and realize the industrialization of Cantonese folk art,it is exigent to construct Enning Qi-lou historical district.To build the characteristic district including the famous Cantonese opera stars' former residences,the stage for opera fans and the tourist souvenirs shops,will be the creative theme of this preservation planning.
