ON THE REGIONAL ECONOMIC EFFECTS ABOUT ADJUSTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE REGIONS AT PERFECTURE LEVEL——A CASE STUDY OF SICHUAN PROVINCE
研究了地级行政区划调整对区域经济的影响，以四川省为例，发现新设和保留的地级市经济增长快于同类地区，但新设地级市的中心城增长更快，而保留地级市的中心城发展较慢。
Regional economic is affected little by adjustment of administrative region at prefecture level.The effect,for example Sichuan province,is analyzed.Each of the four regions at prefecture level in Sichuan province,including Nanchong,Daxian,Leshan and Neijiang,was divided into halves.Four new regions at prefecture level were set up when four old regions were retained.Based on analyses,the whole economic of new regions and old regions grew up faster than other same kinds of regions.In the meantime,the center cities of new regions obtained more growth too when ones of old regions developed slowly.
