Coupling Coordination Degree Between Inbound Tourist Flows and Destinations and Its Spatio-Temporal Differences in the Western Region of China:A Study From the Perspective of Supply-Demand Relationship
构建耦合评价模型,评估2000、2005、2010年西部12省入境旅游流与目的地的协调度,发现需求滞后供给是普遍问题,且区域差异扩大、极化趋势明显。
The paper constructs coupling evaluation model and index of two systems, evaluats coupling coordination degree of 12 provinces of western region in three years(2000, 2005, 2010) and its spatio- temporal differences. The results show: ①The coupling coordination development level of inbound tourist flow and destination slowly improve in western provinces, but not yet reach the coordinated development stage. ②The demand development of inbound tourism lagging behind the supply is a common phenomenon, which means that the lack of effective demand constraint is a key issue of the tourism development in western region, however, the number of supply development lagging behind the demand provinces is widening. ③The regional spatial structure characteristic of coupling coordination degree is that the provinces of higher level are on Hu Huanyong Line and those which located on its east, while those ones on the west are lower. ④ The regional differences of coupling coordination degree is gradually expanding and showing the trend of polarization, mainly due to the widening gap of inbound tourism flow system development level, moreover, provincial differences within the tourist area, is the main source of the overall regional differences of entire western region coupling coordination degree, and in which northwest provincial differences is main.
