The City Image of Macao:A View Based on the Advantages of Industries and Cultural Resources
澳门作为“赌城”形象不利于国际竞争力，本文提出利用世界文化遗产“历史城区”和产业基础，构建“旅游体验之都”与“中西文明和谐发展历史城市”的新形象。
Macao is a well-known 'gambling city'.However,its image as a 'gambling city' is disadvantageous to it to increase its international competitiveness continuously.In word to construct a new city image,Macao should consider its industrial bases and development strategy,and use its Historical Centre,the world cultural heritage,to correct its image of 'gambling city'.According to this idea,a new city image of Macao has been put,that is 'a tour and experience capital which is full of happy,exciting,and energy.a historical city in which Chinese and western civilizations have developed for a long time concordantly'.Macao should construct its new city image by industry development,protection and utilization of Historical Centre,urban environment construction and urban landscape design.
