This paper analyses the predicament faced in urbanization of villages in China t hrough the typical case of a village. It is the main reason that the urbanizatio n of villages is obstructed to state and damage peasants rights and interests in the lost territory, and the disappearance of lost territory peasants subje ct status is the key factor of causing their interests damaged in urbanization. Thi s paper attempts to pass the innovation of mechanism which ensures peasant's rig hts and interests in the lost territory, that is to say, setting up the land acq uisi tion mechanism of villager's participating in type, advance the urbanization pro cess.
