EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS OF ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS OF FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT——BASED ON PANEL DATA ANALYSIS OF 19 INDUSTRIES OF HUNAN PROVINCE
利用湖南省19个重点行业2005-2007年面板数据，发现外商直接投资对生态环境有显著负面影响，且对三废排放影响不同，提出转变增长方式和引资机制以减少环境危害。
The paper uses the panel data of the foreign direct investment in 19 key sectors of Hunan Province from 2005 to 2007,to research the impact of FDI on Hunan’s environmental conditions.The results show that: foreign direct investment has had a much significant negative effect on Hunan’s ecological environment,and the effects on the three wastes emissions are different.The paper puts forward that the economic growth mode should be changed in Hunan Province,as well as the mechanism to attract foreign capital in order to speed up the development of environmental protection industry to reduce the negative effects of FDI enterprises on the environment,and actively promote the construction of Hunan’s Two-oriented society.
