The Evolution and Competition Situation of Container Port Cluster System in China
基于港口系统与竞争理论，采用赫芬达尔-赫希曼指数和偏离份额分析法，研究2000-2012年中国集装箱港口集群的演化与竞争态势，发现港口集群经历了从集中到分散的过程，形成三大主要集群且竞争激烈，腹地经济是主导竞争因素。
Based on the theory of port system and competition, this paper studied the evolution and competition situation of container port cluster in China from 2000 to 2012 using the methods of Herfindahl-Hirschman Index(HHI) and Shift-share Analysis. The study results indicate that the evolution of Chinese port clusters has underwent a process of concentration to de- concentration. China has formed three main port clusters and competition between each other is intense. The dominant competition factor of port cluster's competitiveness was the hinterland economy.Hong kong Port,Guangzhou Port,Shenzhen Port and Xiamen Port are more competitive than other ports in the Chinese Port System.The conclusion will provide the port manager with scientific inspiration for the port construction.
