ADJUSTMENT OF REGIONAL ECONOMIC CO-OPERATION IN NORTHWEST CHINA BASED ON BASIS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF EXTENSIVE ZHUJIANG RIVER DELTA ECONOMIC ZONE
分析了中国区域经济合作趋势，总结了泛珠三角经济区合作的基础与特征，并据此为西北地区提出调整区域经济合作的建议，包括明确增长极、拓展合作空间、协调内外关系等。
Strategy of Extensive Zhujiang River Delta economic zone not only provides a new form for economic co-operation between regions in China but also offers some revelations to Northwest China. This paper analyzed the trend of economic co-operation between regions in China and summarized basis and characteristics of regional co-operation in Extensive Zhujiang River Delta. Based on regional economic development level and co-operation situation, the authors put forward suggestions on regional economic co-operation in Northwest China. It was concluded that characteristics of regional co-operation in Extensive Zhujiang River Delta were as follows: ①Economic co-operation between regions in Extensive Zhujiang River Delta has extensive space and gradation. According to relationships of regional location, Extensive Zhujiang River Delta forms spatial structure distance in order. With the strengthening of regional co-operation and regional integration, spatial scope of economic co-operation between regions will expand. ② It is inevitable trend to form equal and reciprocal internal relationships and unitary great market. ③At present, co-operation between regions needs readjustment. The focal point of readjustment lies in three aspects: internal growing force of regional economy, regional culture and regional traffic network. It was suggested that the major adjustment of regional co-operation in Northwest China was: ①To make clear regional growth pole and to fix regional function. ②To actively extend and dynamically optimize space of regional co-operation. By various platform, to make regional co-operation extend towards east and west and to form spatial pattern of pluralism directions and cores. ③To adjustment inside and outside relationship of regional co-operation and to form main pattern of laying equal stress on both vertical and horizontal division of labor based on equal and reciprocal relationship over a long period of time. ④To coordinate relationship between government and market and to promote enterprises development. ⑤To speed up infrastructure construction and to reduce distance impacts.
