Planning Support System: Current Situation and Reflection
指出当前规划支持实践存在数据处理瓶颈、软件功能有限和可视化效果不佳三个问题，并通过案例展示未来发展趋势是从系统走向科学再到公共服务。
In this paper,we point out that the current planning support practice has three shortcomings: (1) data processing bottleneck;(2)limited PSS software /function on market;(3)unsatisfied visualization effects.The paper also illustrates the development trends of PSS will be from system to science and finally to service for public.A case study has also been done by using What if 2.0 PSS into Chinese planning practice in order to demonstrate the four PSS principles: (1)data input and output from multiple resource;(2) simplicity of model operation;(3) scenario planning method;(4) evaluation for scenarios.
