ACHIEVEMENT,PROBLEMS AND COUNTERMEASURES FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF WESTERN DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY
基于统计数据，从宏观经济、工业化进程、居民生活质量和生态环境三方面评估西部大开发十年绩效，发现东西部差距未缩小反而扩大，并提出加强省际联动、产业联系和点面结合等对策。
Basen on statistical data,this paper selects the three kinds of index,which include macroeconomy level,the process of industrialization,citizen's quality of life and eco-environmnet,to evaluate systematically the performance of implementation of western development in past ten years.The resluts show that,although the economic index of western region improve greatly with the implementation of western development strategy,however the gap between western and eastern region does not reduce but goes further to deteriorate.At last,we provide some suggestions about how to carry forward western development strategy in the next ten years,which include exertion of coupling effects among different western provinces,enhancement of industrial linkage between western and eastern region,and integration of point and sphere.
