A Study on the competition and cooperation of the ports in Pearl Delta
从区域视角研究珠三角港口是否过度建设与竞争，发现港口功能分工较明确，合作多于竞争。
The discussion about whether the coastal ports of our country has been over-constructed and over-competitive has been noteworthy for some time,particularly Changjiang Delta and Pearl Delta where many ports are located. Pearl delta has been selected as the subject of our research. The paper,from the perspective of whether these ports are regional or not,studies throughput increase,distribution of sea routes,positioning of domestic and foreign trade,the efficiency of ports and demand.The study shows that the function division of the ports in Pearl Delta is relatively clear,and that with the driving force of the energetic economic growth of Pearl Delta,the cooperation among ports is more than their competition.
