THE RECONSIDERATION OF THE METHOD TO DEFINE CHINESE RESOURCE-BASED CITIES
指出当前主要用功能分类指标界定中国资源型城市的方法存在局限，建议改用城市胚胎学分类法，最终将63个城市划分为5种类型并分析其特征与分布。
It is undoubted that Resource-based cities that formed following the development of resource are an important component of Chinese urban system.But up until now,there still exist much difference in definition of its category.Which cities are Resource-based cities and which cities are not on earth,there are many different kinds of statements in literatures,and the standard of its definition is also different.In this paper,on the basis of analyzing the results of previous studying,the author points out the limitation of the method which mainly using categorized index of the function to define Chinese resource-based cities at present,and put forward the suggestion that using categorized method of urban embryology to classify Chinese Resource-based cities.Finally through detailed demonstration,5 types,including 63 cities are defined as Resource-based cities in this paper and their characteristics and distribution are fatherly analyzed.
