STUDY ON THE DRIVING FORCES OF URBAN INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVENESS BASED ON FACTOR CONTRIBUTION RATE AND ELASTICITY ANALYSIS——A CASE STUDY OF CITIES ALONG SHANGHAI-NANJING-HANGZHOU-NINGBO
研究了1995-2006年长三角25个城市国际竞争力的驱动力变化，用要素贡献率和弹性分析连接评价结果与决策，为城市国际化发展提供依据。
Since 1990s,with the rapid globalization,city has played an increasingly prominent role in the world development process.It is crucial for a city to achieve faster development by improving the international competitiveness.In this paper,considering the changes of driving forces of urban international competitiveness,factor contribution rate and elasticity analysis are newly proposed.Then an evaluation index system is built completely,and international competitivenesses of 25 cities in Yangtze Delta area are evaluated in 1995,2000,2005 and 2006 respectively.At last,factor contribution rate and factor contribution elasticity are used to analyze the changes of urban international competitiveness among cities along Shanghai-Nanjing-Hangzhou-Ningbo.Those analytical methods built the bridge between evaluation results and decision-making from dynamic perspective,so that it can provide a more reasonable evidence for decision-making of the international development in Shanghai-Nanjing-Hangzhou-Ningbo as well as othercities in China.
