THE RESEARCH FRAMEWORK FOR THE IMPACT OF TOURIM DEVELOPMENT ON THE SOCIETY AND CULTURE OF A RURAL ETHNIC COMMUNITIES
基于中国乡土社会的差序格局理论，结合民族社区本土特征，提出了一个包含基础理论、反思、分析和控制四个层面的研究框架，用于评估旅游发展对民族社区社会文化的影响。
The research on the impact of tourism development on the destination's society and culture has developed a comprehensive theoretical system and yielded impressive empirical research results.In comparison,the Chinese scholarship in this field remains in the stage of acquiring relevant foreign theories as well as evaluation index system to explore this issue.This paper proposes the research framework for the impact of tourism development on the society and culture of ethnic communities by employing the Chaxue Geju theory embedded in the Chinese earthbound society and incorporating indigenous characteristics of these communities.It includes four layers:(1)Basic theory and methodology: delineation and clarification of basic concepts,theory and research method;(2)Reflection: assessment of locals' perception of the impact of tourism development on earthbound characteristics of ethnic communities;(3)Analysis: presentation of key issues in this research;(4)Control: suggestion on the control principle and methods for the win-win solution to ethnic culture and tourism development.
