THE SPATIAL AGGLOMERATION AND DISPERSION IN THE PEARL RIVER DELTA
以珠三角城市群为对象，构建空间集聚与扩散的量化指标，发现该区域正处于集聚主导期，同时出现中小城镇主导和郊区化的扩散趋势。
Taking the Urban Agglomerations of Pearl River Delta as the object of study,this paper tries to build up the quantitative index of Spatial Agglomeration and Dispersion basing on the moderation of the Uniformity Index of Metropolitan.This study quantizes the degree and the dynamical trends of spatial agglomeration and analyzes the signs and characters of the spatial agglomeration and dispersion in the area.The study shows that the Urban Agglomerations of Pearl River Delta is in its period in which the spatial agglomeration is prevailing.The agglomeration bears the characters such as in-line agglomeration,spatial index and incomplete agglomeration.And the area turns to show the dispersion which is marked by the trends of the changes on the population size hierarchy showing the prevailing of media and small towns and the suburbanization of the metropolitan,during the agglomeration period.
