Implications of London′s Greenbelt Policy to Beijing Spatial Development

Greenbelt policy has been used to manage urban growth by counterbalance urban sprawl,to preverve open space,to improve living quality for urban residents,and to protect environment.Based on historical review of London′s greenbelt policies and their assessment,this paper focuses on implications and policy recommendations on urban spatial development and greenbelt policy in Beijing.
