Abstract

According to the rule of urbanization and eco-environment coupling,the index system and the associative degree model that includes the associative degree model and the coupling degree model,have been built by grey associative technique.Based on Jiangsu's panel and serial statistical data,the main factors of urbanization and eco-environment coupling,temporal-spatial distributions of the coupling degrees have been researched.The results show that: firstly,it can be summed up the coupling characteristics that eco-environment is intimidated by urbanization and urbanization restricted by eco-environment.Through grey associative degree analysis,the paper selects 8 items of urbanization and 9 items of eco-environment to reveal the mechanism of urbanization and eco-environment coupling.Secondly,there exist significant phase and undulatory characteristics for the temporal evolvement of coupling degrees,in which the changing of coupling degrees stages takes on inverse U shape.Thirdly,the distribution of the coupling degrees basically conforms to the discrepant rule that it is higher in the northern and southern belt,and lower in the middle.According to the coupling degree distributions and the stages of regional urbanization and economic development,the 13 districts can be classified as four coupling types.
