Based on the analysis of urban transport strategies of 6 global cities,it concludes that the synthetical apply of three types of transport strategies—the supply strategy,the demand strategy and spatial strategy—is the common choice of global cities.But Chinese big cites pay much attention only on the road construction namely the supply strategy.In order to improve the transport situations in Chinese big cites,the transport demand strategy and the spatial strategy must be applied.
