Abstract

Brand innovation was an important task for an enterprise as well as an important issue for regional competitiveness and economic development.Firstly,the status quo of Chinese Brands was analyzed including Chinese Famous Brands,Chinese Well-known Trademarks and Chinese Export Famous Brands in 8 economic regions and 31 provinces,so a conclusion was found that regional difference of China's brands was coincident with the regional difference of economic development.Next,the regional brand innovation ability was quantitatively appraised by means of factor analysis method.Finally,a significant conclusion was the scale and actual strength,and potential of brand innovation were two major impact factors on regional brand innovation ability which was concerned with the regional economic development.
