ANALYSIS ON THE SPATIO-TEMPORAL CHANGE CHARACTERISTICS OF CONSTRUCTION LAND AND ITS DRIVING FORCES IN ZHUHAI
研究了珠海市过去16年建设用地的时空变化，发现面积逐年增加且主要来自耕地转化，空间重心从香洲区向斗门区和金湾区转移，人口、经济和科技是主要驱动力。
ArcGIS was used to overlay the land use maps of the study area at different time periods and topographical maps.SPSS software was applied to carry out correlation analysis of the influence factors of the construction land change in this paper the past 16 years.The results showed that: ①the area of construction land had been increasing annually and underwent a process of rapid change-slow change-rapid change since the 1990s in Zhuhai.At the same time,the change of construction land use was mainly transformed from cultivated land;② the spatial distribution of construction land had been changed during the three study periods and its gravity gradually was transferred from Xiangzhou district to Doumen district and Jinwan district.It is concluded the construction land had a close relation with the topographical factors and the change of its area got less and less obvious along with the rise of altitude and slope.Development in population and economic and science were shown to be the two dominating driving forces in socio-economic factors.Simultaneously,the government policies played an important guidance role.
