Coordinated development of environment of urban human settlements and economy is the major avenue to realization of Dalian sustainable development. On the basis of principles of systematic analysis and statistics, this paper use the objective method by principal component analysis to assess the coordinating degree of the environment of human settlements and economy during the last 13 years in Dalian.Combine the reality to propose the main countermeasure to realize regional sustainable development.
