The ecological environment of our western agriculture is very fragile. Different kinds of agricultural disaster, which exist widespread and occur frequently, are the important factor which restrict the sustained development of western agriculture and national economy. On basis of analyzing the characters of our western agriculture and the natural and man-made causes, the essay put forward the primary countermeasures of reducing agriculture disaster from the point of keeping the sustained development of western agriculture.
