On the Degrees of Decoupling and Re-coupling of Spatial and Temporal Evolution of Urban Expansion Speed and Economic Development From 2000 to 2010: A Case Study of Chongqing City
研究了重庆市40个区县建成区扩张速度与经济发展速度的关系，发现扩张速度与产业转移、人口流动高度耦合，且耦合程度随经济发展水平变化。
The purpose of the study aimed to research the relationships between the speed of the built-up area of the 40 districts in Chongqing and the speed of economic development which was measured by the urbanization rate of the resident population,per capita GDP,and ratio of tertiary industry and secondary industry.Studies have shown that: 1) Urban rapid growth expansion area of Chongqing performance by thecircleto thewings,2000-2010.The faster expansion county performanceconcentrationin space gradually.2) The circum of main city has become the area which undertakes industrial transfer from the main city and the population movements from thetwo wings.3) The speed of urban sprawl highly associated with the expansionary re-coupling or strong re-coupling,the adjustment of industrial structure,especially the industrial space distribution can orderly lead population mobility.4) The degree of coupling of expansionary re-coupling and speed of urban expansion changed with the enhancement of the level of economic development.The faster speed of urban sprawl,the higher its dependence on the level of regional productivity,which proved to some extent that through the reduction in GDP growth,the speed of urban sprawl can be controled.
