TOURIST EXPLOITATION OF THE EXTANT MODERN WESTERN BUILDINGS IN CHINA
研究中国现存近代西式建筑作为旅游资源的开发价值，指出当前存在理解不足、建筑破坏和用途偏离等问题，并提出保护与开发并重的规划建议。
The extant modern western buildings in China are precious heritage belongs to the whole human beings, and their significant value of history, culture and art should not be overlooked. They are exotic tourist resources that embody immensely the traditional architecture styles and distinctive characters of their locality cities. The tourist exploitation of them is helpful to enhance the tourism stamina of the localities, besides, it has great technical functions. At present, there many defects exist in tourism exploitation of the modern western buildings in China, mainly concerned with the following three 1)Detained understanding, 2)Serious architectural destruction, 3) The majority are diverted. The basic tourist general plan covers 1) Pay feasible attention on tourist exploitation , 2)A thorough investigation of the resources, 3)Lay equal stress on both rational protection and full exploitation, 4)Emphasize the feature of tourist products, 5)Raise the fame of the resources incessantly.
