"LANDSCAPE INFORMATION CHAIN" THEORY AND ITS UTILIZATION IN PLANNING OF CULTURAL TOUR DESTINATIONS

Theory question of cultural tour destinations plan's has been important question which be disregarded by tour planning colleagues. Be enlightened from Britain historical geographer Darby's theory of the landscape continual cross section restoration, this article was proposed an new theory that is titled the landscape information chain (LIC) about cultural tour destinations planning. Through analyzing connotation of a goal, three essential factors, two ways as foundation, taking two classic old towns as an example, WangCun old Village in southern China and Qikou old town in northern China, has conducted this theory real diagnosis operation research, and proposed six point beneficial enlightenments to current historical and cultural tour destinations' planning.
