The paper analyzed economically the reasons for the passengers and freights losses from Tianjin airport to other airports by adopting the theory of market's negative effect. Then the paper put Tianjin in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic zone to forecast passengers and freights handled at Tianjin airport by the means of linear regression. Finally it drew a conclusion that nearly half air traffic in Tianjin had been transported from or to Beijing international airport as a result that great differences of economic level and investment to airport between Tianjin and Beijing exist.
