On the Exit Strategy of Unconventional Monetary Policy Based on the Developments of Open Market Operations

During the on-going international financial crisis,the central banks in major developed countries have given up relying on the open market operations to adjust interest rate in the money market Both conventional and unconventional monetary measures have been implemented to alleviate the crisis.When macroeconomic situation improves gradually,the major developed countries have to take account of the exit strategy.The paper briefly studies the changes of the open market operations during the crisis,puts forward the requirements and roadmap of the exit strategy.
