Inter-Country Competition and Public Education Finance Resource Allocation——A Spatial Econometrics Study
研究发现中国公共教育资源配置存在显著空间自相关,即国家间竞争效应;人均GDP、第二产业劳动力和人均居住面积对教育支出有正向显著影响,少数民族人口比例影响为负,部分变量关系非线性。
The Moran’s I test shows there is significant spatial autocorrelation in China public education allocation process, which means inter-country competition effects. The country competition force is influenced by many factors.GDP per capita、secondary industry labor and living area per capita have positive and significant effect on education expenditure while minority population ratio’s effect is negative and significant. The relationship between education expenditure and non-agriculture population ratio、immigrate population and juvenile population are nonlinearity. Moreover, spatial model is better than OLS model in estimating education expenditure function.
