Study on Transformation of Resource-based Cities:A Case Study of Panjin
以盘锦为例，分析了资源型城市因资源过度消耗、环境污染和就业困难面临的发展限制，提出了转型模式和产业替代选择，为东北老工业基地振兴提供科学依据。
The development of resource-based cities has been faced with severe restriction due to the over consumption of the resources,the environment pollution and the employment difficulties.Taking the city of Panjin as an example and based on comprehension of the definition of resource-based city,continuous and substitute industry and its pattern,the authors analyzed the economic status and growing pains according to resources and geographic conditions of Panjin.Finally,the article presented the choices of transformation of resource-based cities through investigating the theory and mode of transition of resource-based cities providing scientific basis for implementing the policy of Revitalization of the old industrial base of Northeast China.
