STUDY ON DEVELOPMENT AND DISTRIBUTION OF LNG INDUSTRY OF COASTAL IN CHINA

Currently,Chinese market of energy resources is confronted with the conflicts of rapid economic growth and inadequate domestic energy supply.In the energy consumption structure,the proportion of LNG in China is far lower than the average level 8.8 percent of Asia.In order to solve the problem of natural resource utilization,we start to layout liquefied natural gas(LNG) receiving stations in Guangdong,Fujian and other coastal areas to receive LNG from abroad.LNG transportation needs LNG transport vessels from the exporting area to the importing area.In order to meet demands of LNG transportation,there needs to construct LNG transport vessels.China has constructed a 14.7×104m3 LNG transport vessel in Shanghai and actively carries out the work of research and development on new large generation LNG vessel.LNG industry is an emerging industry with chain line,which includes liquefaction of natural gas、LNG trade、LNG Transportation and LNG vessels manufacturing and so on.This paper conducts an analysis of the LNG industrial chain pattern and Chinese LNG industry going international.It also discusses the development and the distribution of LNG receiving terminal、 vessels manufacturing、transportation in the Chinese coastal areas.
