The Analysis of Dynamic Changes and Micro-factors of Expansion of Poverty for Urban Low-income Groups in China——Case Study of Beijing
基于1992-2008年北京城市住户调查数据,分析了城市低收入群体规模变化、贫困演变及贫困扩大的微观因素,发现年龄、教育、就业、家庭规模等对低收入群体规模有显著影响。
Taking the urban low-income groups as research object,and basing on the data of 1992—2008 urban household surveys of Beijing,This paper analyzes the scale changes,the evolution of poverty and the micro-factors of expansion of poverty for Beijing urban low-income groups during 17 years.The results show that:During the 17 years,the scale and the poverty of urban low-income groups showed a great degree of volatility.At present,the proportion of low-income urban groups is remaining at 20%,the scale of lowincome urban groups is gradually increasing,and the poverty continues deepen.Meanwhile,in low-income urban groups,the proportion of poor people is less than 10%,but the proportion of non-poor low-income groups is more than 90%.Finally,studying from the micro-factors of expansion of poverty,the age,education level,employment status of family members and the head of household and the family size and structure have a great impact on the scale changes of urban low-income groups.
