SPACE-TIME EVOLVEMENT CHARACTERISTICS AND ITS EFFECT ENVIRONMENT OF HENAN PROVINCE'S 100 STRONGER TOWNS
分析了2003至2006年河南省百强乡镇的时空分布特征，发现其分布不均且沿交通线聚集，外部经济基础与内部产业结构共同影响乡镇强弱演变。
The paper analyzes the characteristics of space and time evolution of the 100 stronger towns(from 2003 to 2006) in Henan.The result reveals that: ①in 2006 the distribution of the 100 stronger towns is inhomogeneous.For example,46% of the selected towns are in Zhengzhou and Luoyang,while the 100 stronger towns in the southern and eastern areas are obviously scarce.Furthermore,the towns tend to distribute along a railway,a road or a river.②There's an obvious increasing tendency for the towns to distribute along a corridor.In addition,the relationship between the 100 stronger towns and the areas which they belong to becomes increasingly complex.At the same time,spatial distribution condenses intensely.The evolution of the 100 stronger towns is more and more stable,and the hereditary characteristics tend to develop diversely.③The exterior factor(including the level of basic economy development,industry structure,natural condition and social influence) is the foremost power to affect the strength of 100 stronger towns in Henan province.In the other hand,the interior factors of each region(such as industry structure and area condition) gradually urge the towns to evolve in different direction.In other words,although outer environment is vital to the towns' development,the lasting prosperity in a long run should be spurred by the inner environmental condition.
