Development of Urban Agglomerations——Study on of Fujian in the West Coast Economic Zone
研究了福建海西经济区中厦门、泉州、漳州等三个城市群的发展，提出根据各自特点推动经济、交通、海洋开发等协调发展的措施。
The development of the West Coast Economic Zone has risen to a major strategic of national level.To promote the development of Fujian,it can be divided into three urban agglomerations,including Xiamen,Quanzhou and Zhangzhou; Fuzhou;Nanping,Sanming and Yong'an.Appropriate measures should be taken to encourage the economic development of the three urban agglomerations according to their own characteristics.From the point of coordinated development of urban agglomerations,transport networks should be accelerated to improve to push the west of the pace of economic integration; the coast,islands and ocean should be developed and used;economic activities with local characteristics and competitive industries should be given greater support;sound financial services should be provided;and the advantages of foreland of national reunification peacefully should be taken.
