THE INFLUENTIAL FACTORS ON CHINA REGIONAL TOTAL FACTOR PRODUCTIVITY: IN THE VIEW OF GEOGRAPHIC SPILLOVERS
利用1998-2008年中国25个省份的面板数据，研究了研发资本、人力资本和公共基础设施资本及其地理溢出效应对区域全要素生产率的影响。
With the increasing degree of the regional economic integration,and the inter-dependence between the inter-regional economic activities are becoming more strengthened, it gets more and more concerned about the impact of the geographic spillover effects on the regional total factor productivity. The paper studies the impacts of the RD capital, human capital, public infrastructure capitaland their geographical spillover effects on the regional total factor productivity, by using China's 1998-2008 data in 25 provinces(municipalities, autonomous regions)and the analysis of panel data model. The results shows that RD capital, human capital and public infrastructure capital investment has a positive impact on the regional TFP. The geographical spillover effects of human capital is not significant, and public infrastructure capital investment is negative RD and its geographic spillover effect on the regional total factor productivity has a positive impact, and the influence of the geographic spillover effect is larger than RD capital on the regional total factor productivity .
