Application And Improvement of the Ecological Footprint Theory on The Study of Urban Ecological Security of Changzhutan Urban Agglomeration
研究了生态足迹理论在长株潭城市群城市生态安全评价中的应用，通过区分消费型和生产型生态足迹，发现生产型生态足迹更适合作为该区域生态安全的定量评估指标。
In 2007, Changzhutan urban agglomeration got the national authorization to be the experimental region to build the resource economical and environment-friendly society. Urban ecological security means that, the environment urban inhabitants live on and urban economy are in a sustainable, stable and security developing state. The ecological footprint theory, which is used to measure the development level from a new aspect and deal with a certain region's development condition. It supplies us a possible means of study on measurement of a regional sustainable development ability and ecological security.But we encounter difficulties when we research and evaluation on the Urban ecological security of Changzhutan urban agglomerations with this theory.Then we put some improvement on the traditional ecological footprint theory, that we distinguish the ecological footprint into two types, the consumption and the production type. And we draw out the conclusion that the production ecological footprint is the better quantitative assessment index for the urban ecological security of Changzhutan urban agglomerations.
