CONSTRUCTING THE RELATIONSHIP OF PORT AND CITY FOR MODERN PORT CITY——A CASE OF NANTONG CITY IN JIANGSU PROVINCE
研究了现代港口城市中港口与城市相互影响的关系，以江苏南通为例分析问题并提出六条科学构建港城关系的对策，对港口城市规划和区域发展有参考价值。
Port city has a unique type and superior location.As port and city influence and restrict mutually,modern port city need to construct a harmonious port-city relationship and promote an integral construction.This paper elaborates the basic connotation of modern port city and the theory about formation and development of the port-city relationship.Then,taking the Nantong City in Jiangsu Province for example,this paper sees through its present situation of development,analyses the question existing in its relationship of port and city,and puts forward the scientific approaches as follows: ①Further establish the functional orientation of port and city;②Accelerate the development of the regional center city,utilize the shore-line resources of the urban district intensively;③Devote major efforts to developing the port economy,optimize the industrial structure of city;④Pay attention to adjust and optimize the goods structure of port's swallowing and spitting while guaranteeing to increase the port's throughput;⑤Adjust the structure of port-land using in urban district,optimize the spatial layout of port-city land using;⑥Unify the planning and enhance the management to promote the integration of port and city.
