THE ECONOMIC LINKS BETWEEN THE CITIES IN WANJIANG URBAN BELT AND THE RADIATION SCOPE OF THE CENTRAL CITY
通过修正引力模型和公交班次数据，分析了皖江城市带各城市的经济联系方向与强度，并利用断裂点理论确定了合肥和芜湖两个中心城市的辐射范围。
Through the analysis of the economic links between cities,it may supply the development orientation to the city and is conducive to the reasonable organization of economic space.The paper revises the city gravity model by using the index of Krugman,the area of built-up areas and the coefficient of the population quality.Empirical research is made by utilizing the frequency data of the bus departure in a day.Based on the revised gravity model,we have analyzed the main directions and intensities of urban economic contacts for the every city in the belt.With the aid of the Breaking Point Theory and ArcGIS software,the influence scope of the central city is presented.The analysis results are as follows:①The revised gravity model in the paper give a better explanation to the economic linkage among the cities,the correlativity between the intensities of economic contacts and the bus departure frequency is higher,the correlativity coefficient is 0.867,correlation is significant at the 0.01 level(2-tailed),and the economic linkage directions got from the revised gravity model are generally consistent with the reality.②The intensity of the economic linkage is significant different among different cities in the belt and the most of cities only have economic ties with neighbouring city.③ The main economic linkage directions point to the center city or the neighbouring city.④There are two central cities in the belt,Hefei and Wuhu,and their radiation scope are narrow.
