The exploring of public tiolets'spatial distribution and digital application——on the base of Changzhou central area

Central area,as the core of the city,concentrates and integrates many principal urban functions,and is operated as the important space for municipal duties and residents' daily activities.Public toilet,one of the basic civil service facilities that is closely connected with people's daily trips,is of much importance in its proper positioning.Relating to the planning practice of public toilet position in the central area of Changzhou,the paper looks into the problems that widely exist in planning practice,and makes an attempt at the public toilet position planning at a wider urban range with the application of GIS and RS techniques.
