THE ANALYSIS OF THE NECESSITY OF SPACE STRUCTURE TRANSFOR-MATION IN HISTORICAL & CULTURE CITY——HANGZHOU
以杭州为例，比较杭州与苏州的保护方法，分析旧城改造为何无法有效保护历史资源，论证旧城保护必须依赖新城发展，并指出休闲经济有助于实现旧城自我维持。
According with urban economy's rapid development,there is a common characteristic appearing in many China cities which is speed of urbanization in these cities is growing faster and faster.Then,a number of historical culture cities are rethinking a question what is how to making their conservation more effective in progress of modernization in China.This article takes Hangzhou as an example,first,compares two different conservation methods between Hangzhou and Suzhou;then,finds reasons why Hangzhou cannot conserve its historical cultural resources effectively by using the old city rebuilding conservation method;after that,analyses relationship between economic development and urban space structure;finally,deduces conclusion that conservation of a old city must depends on developing of a new city.With contribution of leisure economy development,the historical cultural city-Hangzhou could achieve a wonderful consequence that is the old city feeds on itself.
