Study on the Provincial Difference and Its Influencing Factors of the Size Structure of China’s Inbound Tourism
基于城市地理学的位序规模理论，研究中国各省入境旅游规模结构的类型分布与不平衡特征，并分析经济发展水平、旅游资源、城市功能等影响因素。
Based on the rank-size theory in urban geography,the paper investigates the size structure of inbound tourism at the scale of province in China,by constructing some indices of tourism size distribution and using the methods of cluster analysis and discriminant analysis.The conclusions are drawn as follows: the size structure of inbound tourism can be divided into six types,that is senior transitional distribution,middle-senior equilibrium distribution,middle transitional distribution,middle primacy distribution,junior transitional distribution and junior primacy distribution.At provincial scale,the size structure of inbound tourism is significant imbalance.Tourism size structures of the province are mainly belonging to the types of primacy distribution or transitional distribution,and few are belonging to the equilibrium distribution.The paper also discusses the influencing factors of the size structure,such as the level of economic development,tourism resources conditions,city functions and regional development strategies.
