Abstract

Along with socio-economic development rapidly,the mutual influence between ecosystem and human activities of the Dongting Lake region has appeared increasingly.Using correlational analysis and regrssion analysis method to analyze ecological carrying capacity and its system coupling relationship from perspective of the system interaction.The results show that: ① The total EC and the per capita EC of Dongting Lake region was continued to decline in nearly 10 years,by drop of 5.12%;The cultivated land EC declined constantly by drop of 12.66%,and the construction land EC went up constantly by rise of 15.49% in the ecological asset types.②Ecological carrying capacity and ecological resilience subsystem,resources and environment subsystems and socio-economic subsystem elements showed a significant correlation.There was mutual coupling relationship and mutual restraint between them,presenting different coupling form,for example J shape,inverted U shape,straight and Lshape.③ Industrial structure characteristics and change,advancement of urbanization,rapid social and economic development,mineral development and construction projects and other factors led ecosystem elasticity recession,capacity of resources and the environment reduced,the development function of socio-economic systems was restricted.All above were the important factors of forming this kinds of coupling relationship.
