Analysis on Growth and Spatial Distribution of the Service Industries in Beijing
研究了北京市服务业增长过程及其空间分布特征，发现服务业主要集中在中心及周边区域，呈现多中心集聚，且各区分布差异明显。
The service industries,especially the producer service sector,are becoming the main impetus of driving the development of urban economy and have great impact on urban spatial structure.This paper initially traced the process of growth of service industries and showed that Beijing had developed to be a service oriented city.This paper focused on the characteristics of spatial distribution of the service industries.The findings are as follows.(1)The service industries mainly distributed in the central area and the surrounding areas and exhibited poly—centric agglomeration distribution.(2)There were distinctive differences in spatial distribution of service industries among districts and regional division had appeared.(3)The location patterns of service industries were found to be complex,each sector behaving differently.
