Urban Waterfront RBD Development: Centered With Lifestyle
提出城市滨水区开发应转向以休闲为导向的休闲商业区（RBD）模式，通过全球13个案例总结出适用于中国滨水区规划的六项议题。
Urban waterfronts are fascinating places,exhibiting both natural charm,usefulness for a vast array of human activities,as well as a rich heritage that generated significant tourist interest in some areas.On review of the waterfront development studies and urban development research both home and abroad,this article argues that a strong trend of urban waterfront development is recreation oriented,rather than business centered.This trend is in accordance with the humanist thinking among development paradigms.Thus,the authors of this study proposed the idea of urban waterfront recreational business district(RBD).Thirteen sites across the world were examined with field trip by at least one of the authors.The researchers summarized six issues that apply to the domestic waterfront RBD planning and development,which shares some commonality with China.
