The Geographic Distribution Characteristics Research of Chinese Joint-Stock Commercial Bank
研究中国12家股份制商业银行在省市层面的分布模式，发现其网点集中于东部沿海城市，呈现从东向西递减的格局，且存在空间正相关性。
With Chinese banking reform and development,joint-stock commercial banks have become an important part of China's banking structure.This study analyzes the Chinese 12 joint-stock commercial bank branches in the provincial and municipal level domain distribution pattern,and using Concentration Ratio Index,Gini coefficient and Global Moran index reveals a cluster of characteristics of joint-stock commercial banks.The results indicate that:( 1) Joint-stock commercial outlets mainly gathered in the eastern coastal cities,showed a pattern of decreasing from east to west.( 2) Joint-stock commercial banks in the provinces / regional exist differences in the development stage,forming a different distribution structure types.( 3) Joint-stock commercial bank with spatial clustering,spatial correlation is positive correlation.( 4) Multiple factors impact the spatial development mechanism of joint-stock commercial banks,including Chinese banking access policy,bank corporate earnings drivers and urban socio-economic conditions.
