ANALYSE OF REGIONAL ECONOMIC INEQUALITY IN JIANGSU PROVINCE BY DECOMPOSITION OF GINI
计算了1978-2009年江苏省各县人均GDP的基尼指数，并将其分解为组内不平等、组间扩展基尼不平等和组间交叉强度三个部分，发现区域经济不平等整体呈波动上升趋势，苏南低人均GDP县正追赶苏北和苏中高人均GDP县。
This paper calculates the Gini index in Jiangsu province from 1978 to 2009,based on the GDP per capita data for counties.Then we decompose the Gini index into three components: the Gini inequality within subgroups,the extended Gini inequality between subgroups and the intensity of transvariation between subgroups.The results show that regional economic inequality takes on a fluctuant rising trend as a whole.In small scale,regional economic inequality in Jiangsu province is mainly affected by the economic inequality between general counties,the economic inequality between city area changes a little.In large scale,the whole regional economic inequality is mainly affected by the extended Gini inequality between the south,middle,and north area of Jiangsu province,while the contribution of intensity of transvariation is becoming smaller and smaller.Counties with lower per capita GDP in the south area of Jiangsu province catch up and pass over the counties with high per capita GDP in north and middle area of Jiangsu province.It is necessary to narrow the regional economic inequality for developing county economic in north and middle of Jiangsu province.
