ANALYSIS ON SPATIAL DEVELOPMENT AND DYNAMICS MECHANISM OF SUXICHANG METROPOLITAN COORDINATING REGION
分析了苏锡常都市圈协调区的人口增长、城市空间扩展及结构演变，指出其多核心网络空间结构由经济、产业、开发区建设、农村城市化、基础设施和行政区划调整等因素驱动。
Suxichang is one of the most populated areas and the most developed regions and one of three Metropolitan Coordinating Regions under building in Jiangsu province.Suxichang achieves high levels of non-agriculturalization and urbanization,has basic characteristics of Metropolitan Coordinating Region and includes three Metropolitan areas: Suzhou,Wuxi and Changzhou.Since the reform and opening up,in Suxichang population has fast increased,urban space has continuously expanded,urban spatial structure has also significantly changed from bulk to banding along main lines of communication and regional urban rank-size structure has been the form of spindle.Suxichang Metropolitan Coordinating Region has the multi-core and network spatial structure and includes 3 central cities,9 secondary cities and 5 urban development axes.The rapid growth of economy,evolution of industrical structure,massive economic development zone construction,rural urbanization,infrastructural construction and administrative division adjustment etc.further spatial formation and development of Suxichang Metropolitan Coordinating Region.
