Energy analysis can calculate the true value of environmental resources and economic activities in ecology - economic system quantificationally. So it is very important to evaluate region sustainable developmental level and to constitute right policy to society - economy development. Based on calculating and analyzing of main energy indices of Jiangsu ecology - economic system at present and during the past 20 years, the paper brings forward countermeasures to realize the sustainable development of Jiangsu ecology - economic system.
