Study on the Discipline of Urban Sciences
本文梳理了中国城市科学的学科结构、发展现状和存在问题，涵盖城市化理论、城市规划、城市经济等11个研究领域，并讨论了未来趋势。
China's urbanization is facing the more complicated backgrounds and the more presses of the social transformation than the developed countries and the developing countries due to its more quick urbanization process and the key role of urban economy in the national economy. There is very important value to launch the discipline of urban sciences in China. The paper put stresses on describing the structure, the current situations and the development level and existing problems of the urban sciences.11 research fields of Chinese urban sciences is gives, such as the research on China's urbanization theory, the urban planning theory and approaches of the Chinese urban planning in transition, urban economics and urban land use and housing, regional economics and regional planning and polices, urban sociology and urban community, urban culture landscape and urban history, urban express-ways system and transportation and flowing spaces, urban ecology and environment, landscape architecture planning and design, urban planning management, information system for urban planning, etc. Last, the paper has a discussion about the trends and the future of the Chinese urban science.
