SELECTION AND CULTIVATION OF CENTRAL CITIES IN HUNAN PROVINCIAL BOUNDARY
构建了省际边界中心城市的选取指标体系，用投影寻踪和聚类分析选出岳阳、郴州、怀化作为培育对象，并从经济实力、辐射力、产业和交通等方面比较分析，提出培育建议。
According to the characteristics of regional central cities and inter-provincial border cities,this paper builds a selection index system for the central cities in Hunan provincial boundary.Using the method of projection pursuit and cluster analysis,combined with the actual situation of Hunan province,we choose Yueyang,Chenzhou and Huaihua as the cultivation objects of central cities in Hunan provincial boundary,on this basis,from the comprehensive economic strength,the central radiation driving force,the industrial development, the regional traffic conditions and other aspects to comparatively analyze the development of them.These results indicate that the cultivation and improvement of central cities in Hunan provincial boundary can begin with the following aspects: make the central downtown bigger and stronger,optimize and adjust the industrial structure, strengthen the regional economic cooperation,develop the modern logistics and trade circulation and accelerate the pace of building transport infrastructure.
